We had three tapas and one entree, which was plenty. I really liked the albondigas, and the Brazilian beach cheese was quite good. The corn rib elotes was ok -- I grew up in the US corn belt, and I found the corn a bit too ripe and overcooked. The coconut chicken was good. There are a lot of drink options, but that's not my thing. Would absolutely go back and I'd absolutely try another in the chain. As with many places in Europe, the attention to detail on gluten sensitivity was excellent.

I wasn't expecting much from what I thought was a standard chain restaurant. But after a few weeks of travels, it was time for a different menu. Started off with a disappointing watermelon margarita. Neither of us could drink it. But it sure improved after that. I did the 3 item tapas selection - Albondingis, chicken tacos, and fish taco... The tastes were amazingly good, perfectly seasoned, and the portions were LARGE!! My friend got the vegetarian jackfruit taco and he was equally pleased. Staff was really friendly, and place has a fun vibe.

As South American places in the UK go, it's pretty good. They have a decent variety of food from all over South America. Some meals, however, I think are better than others. I loved the enchilada, but didn't care much for the ceviche. There's plenty of seating. They did keep us waiting a little for the check, but we weren't in a rush. All in all, if you're in York and craving some South American food, Las Iguanas is a good place to go for it.

I have been to las iguanas york on multiple occasions now and every single time the food is brilliant. I always order tapas which is excellent and I love the 2for1 cocktail offer they have on. The staff are always very helpful and the service is always pretty speedy, I've never had much of a wait for my food to come out to the table. Love it!

A really good place for hanging out and eating Latin, mostly Brazilian food. the tapas are excellent. had the spicy prawns and the dadinhos. Both excellent.
